Turn Trash To Treasure Contest
Help us decorate the fairgrounds by entering the Turn Trash To Treasure Contest!
From June 24 - August 9, those interested can pick up garbage cans from the South Dakota State Fair. All decorations must be paint based using latex paint and exterior sealant to extend the life of the painting, and no paper or 3D art will be allowed. Cans must be primed and sealed. All entries and art must promote the fair, 4-H, FFA, or be agriculturally based.
All garbage cans MUST be returned by August 16.
Entries can be made as a group or individual project, and it is free to enter.
The 1st place winner will recieve $100 cash, 2nd place will receive $50 cash, and 3rd place will recieve $25 cash.
The garbage cans will be on display at the South Dakota State Fair and winners will be announced at the fair.
